"Let's stay away from the tried and tested stout & porter with chocolate and explore something new, something that can best represent Fossa & Niang as thought leaders within the craft space!" That was the 1st thing that Jay Chua, co-founder of Fossa Chocolate, said when we first embarked on this project.
Guiding by that principle of exploration, we dreamed and experimented with tropical fruits, sours and everything in between. We eventually created Singapore's first Chocolate Sour Ale.
Using single-estate cacao nibs from Rehoboth Estate of The Philippines and fresh passion fruit, this one-of-a-kind sour ale takes your tongue & nose on a rollercoaster ride, filled with notes of chocolate, lemon, peach & passion fruit. It's not what you would expect, but we sure hope that it will let you view beer & chocolate in a different light!
